Types of  antelope species resident on the property include the Greater Kudu, Eland, Blesbok, Gemsbok (Oryx), Black and Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Bontebok, Steenbok, Common Duiker, Burchell’s Zebra, Nyala, Mountain Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Impala as well as Black Impala, Springbok as well as Copper Springbok, Roan antelope, Sable antelope and Warthog.


Marrick Safari is lucky enough to have one of "The Big 5"; the Buffalo. 

Additionally, we are proud to have introduced and bred our very own herd of Giraffe, the numbers of which are increasing year by year.

Marrick is known for our unique nocturnal animals such as the rare Aardvark, Aardwolf, Smith’s Red Rock Hare and Bat-eared Fox or two crossing your path on one of our ought to do night drives, including Springhare, Scrub Hare, Porcupine and Hedgehog.
